About 24X7 Job Alerts & Sarkari Naukri
24X7 Job Alerts is a free website. It helps people find government jobs in India. We call these jobs "Sarkari Naukri." We also show Sarkari Result, admit cards, answer keys, and exam dates. Every day, we check every government office and organization on our own. We look for new job notices. When we find one, we check it, and then we put it on our website. We sort each job by state, by qualification, and by category. This makes it easy and fast for you to find the job you want. Every job post has a link to the real, official notice. So you can always go and check it yourself.
Why do so many people want a government job?
Every year, the government has many new jobs. These jobs are in the army, the police, the railway, and many other offices. Many, many people want these jobs. Why? A government job is safe. You do not lose it easily. You get money every month, even after you stop working (this is called a pension). You get help for doctors and medicine. People also feel proud to have a government job. Because of all this, children in almost every town in India dream of getting a government job one day. That is why our website is here. We watch for these jobs every day. So you get the news first, and you get it fast.
How does a government job work, step by step?
First, the government office puts out a notice. This notice says a new job is open. Next, you fill a form on the computer to say "I want this job." This is called applying. After the last date to apply, the office gives you an admit card. This card lets you sit for the exam. Then you take the exam. After the exam, the office shows the answer key. This tells you the correct answers. If you think an answer is wrong, you can tell them. Last of all, the office shows the result. The result tells you if you passed. We watch every one of these steps for you, every single day. So you do not need to search many websites. You can just check back here.
Things to check before you apply
- Check your age. Check your school marks or degree. Make sure you match what the job asks for.
- Read the whole official notice. Do not just read a short summary. Read every word, slowly.
- Check the last date to apply. Check the last date to pay the fee. These dates can be different.
- Write your name, date of birth, and other details exactly like your certificates. Not one letter different.
- Upload your photo and your signature in the right size. Many forms get rejected just for this.
- After you send the form, save two copies. Save one on your phone or computer. Print one on paper too.
Big officer jobs: UPSC and State PSC
UPSC means Union Public Service Commission. This is one big office. It picks people for very big jobs. These jobs are called IAS, IPS, and IFS. Many, many people try for these jobs every year. But only a few people get selected. So these are very hard exams. Every state also has its own office, like UPSC, but for that one state. It is called the State PSC. These state offices also pick officers for big jobs in that state. Both UPSC and State PSC ask three things: a first exam, a second bigger exam, and then talking to you in person (an interview). It takes a long time and hard work to clear all three.
Army, Navy, Air Force, and Police jobs
Some people want to serve their country. For them, there are jobs in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. There are also special police forces, like BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and the Indian Coast Guard. These jobs need you to be strong. So along with a written exam, you also do a running and fitness test. Some of these jobs need only a 10th pass or 12th pass. Some need a college degree, for becoming an officer. These jobs give good pay. They also give free doctor care for your family, and sometimes a free house to stay in. This is why so many young people choose this path.
Bank jobs
Banks in India also give government-style jobs. These jobs are called Clerk, PO, and SO. PO means Probationary Officer. SO means Specialist Officer. Most bank jobs are given through one big exam. This exam is run by IBPS, which stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Some banks, like SBI and RBI, also run their own separate exams. You usually need a college degree to apply for a bank job. Banks are in every city and every small town. So banks need a lot of workers. This means many bank jobs open up, every single year.
Railway jobs
Indian Railways is the biggest employer in our country. That means it gives jobs to more people than almost anyone else. Railway jobs are given by RRB, the Railway Recruitment Board. There are railway jobs for 10th pass students. These are called Group D jobs. There are also railway jobs for graduates, like RRB NTPC. Because there are so many railway jobs at one time, the exam happens in many small rounds. This is called CBT, or Computer Based Test. Railway jobs include Station Master, Clerk, Guard, and Technician. Railway workers also get a free or cheap place to stay, and free or cheap train tickets.
SSC jobs — CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD, JE
SSC means Staff Selection Commission. This one office picks workers for many, many government departments. SSC CGL is for graduate students. SSC CHSL is for 12th pass students. SSC MTS and SSC GD need less qualification, so more people can apply. SSC JE is for students who studied engineering or a diploma. Each SSC exam has more than one round. Most have a computer test first. Some also have a skill test or a writing test after that. SSC jobs are spread all across the country, in central government offices.
Jobs for students who passed only 12th class
You do not always need a college degree for a government job. Many good jobs only need a 12th pass. Some examples are SSC CHSL, SSC GD Constable, SSC MTS, some Railway NTPC posts, and the UPSC NDA exam for the army, navy, and air force. Jobs like Stenographer, Clerk, and Translator also often need only 12th pass. These jobs are a little easier to get than officer-level jobs. But they still give you a safe, steady, and respected government job.
Jobs for students who passed only 10th class
Even a 10th pass student can get a good government job. Railways, SSC, the Police, and the Army all give jobs for 10th pass students. These jobs include Constable, Trackman, Peon, Cook, Driver, and Fireman. Railway Group D and Police Constable jobs (like UP Police or Bihar Police) are some of the biggest 10th-pass job openings every year. Some of these jobs also want you to know basic computer use, or the local language of that state. So always read the full notice, not just the job title.
College admission and entrance exams
This website is not only for jobs. We also show news about college admissions and entrance exams. This includes admission to big universities, JEE Main for engineering, CLAT for law, and CUET for many other courses. We also show teacher exams like CTET and state TET exams. If you are still studying and planning for a government job later, you can find this news here too, in the same place.
What happens after you send your form
After the last date to apply is over, the office picks an exam date. Then it gives out admit cards to students who can take the exam. After the exam is done, the office first shows an answer key. This is not the final one yet. If you think an answer is wrong, you can raise an objection. After that, the office shows the final answer key, and then the result. Some jobs also need an interview or a document check after the result. We watch each of these steps, every day, on the office's own notice board. As soon as we see a new update, we add it to the same job post here. So one page follows your job from the start all the way to the end.
Always check the dates and links on the real, official notice before you apply or pay any money. 24X7 Job Alerts is not part of any government office, commission, or board.
