The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) has released an advertisement inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a research project in its Satellite Geodesy (SAGE) Laboratory, Department of Geology. Candidates must have secured 60% marks for General/OBC categories or 55% marks for SC/ST/PH categories.	A valid CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE score is mandatory for this JRF position. Desirable qualifications include prior experience in processing and analyzing GNSS/GPS and InSAR data, understanding tectonic deformation processes in seismically active regions, and basic programming skills in languages like Linux, Python, or MATLAB for data analysis and modelling.

Age Limit

The maximum age for applicants is 28 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per the extant rules of the Government of India for eligible categories.

Salary and Emoluments

The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive a monthly emolument of Rs. 37,000/-, along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per the norms applicable to the position.
