Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications

• Principal: A trained MA/MSc degree in a relevant science or mathematics discipline. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in classes 9-12 or 4 years as a Headmaster in a recognized Junior High School. Other options include a First/Second Class Post Graduate degree with 10 years of Intermediate teaching experience, or a Third Class Post Graduate degree with 15 years of teaching experience.
• PGT Hindi: An MA in Hindi along with a BA in Sanskrit, or a Shastri examination from Sampurnanand University.
• PGT English: A Post Graduate degree in English from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates holding an LT Diploma or a B.Ed/Diploma in Education.
• PGT Maths: An MA or MSc in Mathematics, or a BA/BSc (Hons) with a 3-year Mathematics course.
• PGT Biology: An MSc in Botany or Zoology, or an MSc combining Botany and Zoology, or a UGC recognized MSc in Life Science. Alternatively, a BSc with a Post Graduate Diploma in Biology from the UP Education Department is acceptable.
• PGT Chemistry: An MSc in Chemistry, or a BSc (Hons) with a 3-year Chemistry course. UGC recognized Post Graduate in Biochemistry or a BSc with a Post Graduate Diploma in Chemistry from the UP Education Department are also eligible.
• PGT Physics: An MSc in Physics, or a BSc with a Post Graduate Diploma in Physics from the UP Education Department.
• Computer Science: M.Tech (Computer Science), BE/B.Tech (Computer Science), MCA, MSc (Computer Science), "B" Level DOEACC, Post Graduate with a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application, or Post Graduate with a BSc (where Computer Course forms at least 1/3rd of the science course), or Post Graduate with an "A" Level DOEACC certificate.
• Lab Assistant: High School (10th Pass) with a Science stream and a Lab Technician Diploma, or Intermediate (12th Pass) with a Science stream from a recognized board.
• Office Superintendent / Clerk: Intermediate (12th Pass) from the UP Board or an equivalent examination. Candidates must have Computer Science as a separate subject in High School/Intermediate or possess a CCC certificate from DOEACC/NIELIT or equivalent. Hindi typing speed of 25 WPM and English typing speed of 30 WPM are mandatory.
• Caretaker: A Post Graduate degree and a B.Ed qualification.
• Peon, Watchman, Cook, Assistant Cook: Candidates must have passed the 8th standard.

Documents Required for Application:

• Two self-attested passport-size photographs.
• Self-attested copies of all educational mark sheets and certificates (High School, Intermediate, Graduation, Post Graduation, B.Ed/Diploma, etc.).
• Experience certificates (if applicable).
• Domicile certificate.
• Caste certificate (for reserved categories), issued by a competent authority.
• Two character certificates issued by gazetted officers.
• Aadhar card.
• Self-attested copies of any other relevant documents.
• Two self-addressed envelopes with the required postage stamps affixed.

Selection Procedure

• Merit Calculation:
  • High School: 10% of obtained percentage
  • Intermediate: 10% of obtained percentage
  • Graduation: 20% of obtained percentage
  • Post Graduation: 20% of obtained percentage
  • Training (B.Ed/Diploma): 30% of obtained percentage
• Tie-breaking Rule: If two or more candidates have equal merit marks, the older candidate will be given preference. If both merit marks and age are equal, the candidate whose name appears first alphabetically will be preferred.
• Interview: For posts such as Cook, Peon, and Watchman, selection will be based on an interview.
• Document Verification: All original documents will be verified during the selection process.
• Contractual Appointment: Selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis for 11 months and 29 days. Contract renewal will be subject to satisfactory annual performance evaluation by the Block Education Officer and approval from the District Magistrate.
