Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for each post vary based on the nature of the position and specific departmental needs, as per NMC guidelines.

Professor

Candidates must hold an MD/MS/DNB in the relevant subject, as per TEQ Regulation of NMC Guidelines. They need 8 years of post-PG experience, including at least 3 years as an Associate Professor in a permitted/recognised medical college. Additionally, four research publications (at least two as Associate Professor) in indexed journals are required, along with completion of the Basic Course in Medical Education Technology and Biomedical Research from NMC-designated institutions. MBBS and additional qualifications must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council.

Associate Professor

Applicants should possess an MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject, adhering to TEQ Regulation of NMC Guidelines. A minimum of 5 years of post-PG experience, including at least 4 years as an Assistant Professor in a recognised medical college, is mandatory. Two research publications in indexed journals and completion of the Basic Course in Medical Education Technology and Biomedical Research from NMC-designated institutions are also required. MBBS and additional qualifications must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council.

Assistant Professor

Candidates need an MD/MS/DNB in the relevant subject as per TEQ Regulation of NMC Guidelines. For Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry departments, an MSc (relevant medical subject) and PhD (relevant medical subject) from a recognised medical college/institute are also acceptable. One year of experience as a Senior Resident in the concerned subject at a recognised medical college after acquiring the MD/MS degree is necessary. Non-medical teachers may fill up to 15% of total posts if medical teachers are unavailable. MBBS and additional qualifications must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council.

Assistant Professor - Non-Medical Faculty (Specific Specialties)

Selection Process

The selection for GMC Wanaparthy Recruitment 2026 involves the following stages:
