Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications

Assistant Professor Qualification

• Candidates must hold a Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognised university.
• Applicants must fulfill the eligibility requirements prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
• A National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR is mandatory, unless exempted according to applicable UGC rules.
• Ph.D. degree holders who meet the UGC regulations may also be considered as per the relevant provisions.

Director Physical Education Qualification

• A Master's Degree in Physical Education and Sports, Physical Education, or Sports Science with a minimum of 55% marks is required.
• Applicants should have a proven record of representing their University/College at inter-university/inter-collegiate competitions or at State/National championships.
• NET qualification is applicable as per rules.
• Candidates must successfully pass the prescribed physical fitness test.

Alternatively, individuals who have won medals at the Asian Games or Commonwealth Games and possess a Post-Graduate level degree may also be considered for the DPE post.
