Age Limit and Tenure

If fewer than the prescribed classes are undertaken by retired faculties, the honorarium will be adjusted proportionately. No other allowances or financial benefits are provided to retired teachers or guest faculties. Engaged retired faculties are allowed 10 days of leave per year. All statutory deductions, including income tax and TDS, will be the sole responsibility of the Guest Faculties.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for Guest Faculty positions will be based on merit, adhering to the provisions outlined in the University statutes and UGC guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities of Engaged Faculties

Engaged faculties will undertake various academic and administrative responsibilities, including:

• Teaching courses, conducting examinations, and guiding research.
• Guiding research projects for UG and PG students. They may become Co-guides for research projects or Ph.D. guidance based on their qualifications.
• Conducting research and pursuing sponsored research projects as per funding agency rules.
• Launching continuing education programs in new areas.
• Organizing or attending National/International Conferences, Seminars, Symposia, and Workshops with the University as a co-organizer, without financial commitment.
• Undertaking knowledge-based advisory/consultancy assignments as per University guidelines.
• Accepting invitations for guest lectures at other institutions without financial commitment from the University.
• Participating in academic/research committees within the University and elsewhere when required.

However, Guest Faculties will not be eligible to hold administrative or financial responsibilities.
