MANUU Lecturer Recruitment 2026: Walk-in Interview for Polytechnic Posts

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Lecturers on a short-term contractual basis for its Polytechnic in Kadapa. This is a direct walk-in interview opportunity for qualified candidates in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering disciplines.

Vacancy Details

A total of 2 Lecturer positions are available across two engineering disciplines at MANUU Polytechnic, Kadapa.

Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications

Candidates applying for these Lecturer positions must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. degree in the relevant engineering discipline (Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering) with a First Class or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates possessing an M.E. / M.Tech. degree.
• Knowledge of Urdu: As per Section 4 of the University Act, Urdu is the medium of instruction at MANUU, making Urdu proficiency compulsory for all teaching posts. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of Urdu by having either:
  • Studied from an Urdu medium School/Madarsa.
  • Studied Urdu as a subject at X Std., +2/Intermediate level, or UG level.
  • Studied Urdu as one of the subjects at X or XII from Central or State Boards recognized by the Govt. of India or Madrasa Boards of State Government or NIOS/State Open Schools recognized by the Govt. of India (Ministry of HRD).
  • Studied UG/PG (Urdu) or Urdu as one of the subjects from any UGC recognized State/Central/Private University.

Age Limit

While a general age limit for fresh candidates is not specified, retired teachers (Professors / Associate Professors / Assistant Professors) from Government-recognized Institutions who are below 65 years of age are also eligible to apply for these contractual positions.

Monthly Remuneration

The salary for selected Lecturers will be determined based on their qualifications and prior experience, as per university norms.

The selection for these Lecturer posts will be conducted solely through a walk-in interview.
