Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

• A B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) / B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree.
• An MBA (Master of Business Administration) or PGDM (Post Graduation Diploma in Management).
• Candidates must have achieved a first class in either their B.E./B.Tech or MBA/PGDM.
• The B.E./B.Tech degree can be in any branch of Engineering/Technology, and the MBA/PGDM specialization is preferably in HR.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience in the industry.
• Desirable experience includes recruitment or serving as an Officer/In-charge of Training & Placement at a degree-level institution.
• The industrial experience must be at a managerial level or above, with a pay level not below Level-8 as per the 7th CPC.
• Candidates must demonstrate active participation in designing, planning, executing, analyzing, training, and placement activities.
• Only experience gained in companies with an annual turnover of not less than INR 500 crore will be considered.

• A minimum of fifteen years of experience in the industry, specifically in recruitment/HR processes, or as an Officer/In-charge of Training & Placement at a degree-level institution.
• At least three years of this experience must be in a position equivalent to Level-13A as per the 7th CPC.
• The industrial experience should be at a senior managerial level or above, with a base salary equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
• A proven record of active participation in recruitment, planning, development, execution, and management of HR development and training programs is required.
• Key indicators of experience include recruitment drives conducted, engagement with graduate-level educational institutions for campus hiring, and training/career development programs conducted.
• Similar to the Assistant Professor role, only experience from companies with an annual turnover of at least INR 500 crore will be considered.

Selection Process

For Assistant Professor of Practice (T&P):

1. Screening Test: A screening test will be conducted for shortlisting candidates. The syllabus for this test is provided in Annexure III of the detailed notification.
2. Documents & Points/Marks Verification: A maximum of 15 candidates will be shortlisted from the screening test results for verification of documents and calculation of points/marks.
3. Presentation and Interview: Candidates who are provisionally deemed eligible after document verification will be called for a presentation and a final interview.

For Professor of Practice (T&P):

1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:15 based on the score obtained against key indicators of industrial experience, utilizing a score sheet provided in the application form.
2. Documents & Points/Marks Verification: Provisional shortlisted candidates will undergo verification of their documents and points/marks.
3. Presentation and Interview: Those found provisionally eligible after document verification will proceed to a presentation and interview round.
