Mahatma Gandhi Central University Announces Graduate Apprentice Walk-in Interviews

Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), Bihar, has released a notification for the MGCU Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026. This recruitment drive aims to engage eligible candidates for a 12-month apprenticeship training program under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Graduates from any discipline are invited to appear for walk-in interviews on 26 August 2026.

Vacancy Details and Reservation

A total of 12 Graduate Apprentice positions are available at Mahatma Gandhi Central University. One post is reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) under the horizontal reservation policy.

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

To be eligible for the Graduate Apprentice positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• NATS Student ID: It is mandatory for all applicants to possess a valid NATS Student ID.
• Apprenticeship Status: Applicants who have already registered, undergone, or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible to apply for this program.
• Guidelines: Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed under the prevailing NATS/BOPT guidelines as on the date of the interview are considered eligible.

Apprenticeship Stipend

Selected Graduate Apprentices will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month. No other payments will be made to the apprentices.

Important Notes for Candidates

• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
