BPSSC PET Admit Card 2026 Released

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has issued an important notice concerning the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and the release of admit cards for candidates who successfully cleared the written examination. This notice pertains to recruitment advertisements 05/2025, 01/2026, and 02/2026, covering various posts within the Bihar Police department.

Important Dates

Admit Card Download

Candidates can download their PET admit cards from the official BPSSC website, https://bpssc.bihar.gov.in, starting from September 8, 2026.

• For Advertisement No. 05/2025 (Police Sub-Inspector), download from the 'Bihar Police' tab.
• For Advertisement No. 01/2026 and 02/2026 (Havildar Clerk), download from the 'Homeguard' tab.

Candidates who are unable to download their e-admit cards from the website can collect a duplicate copy in person from the BPSSC office at 5, Harding Road, Patna-800001, on September 15, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. They must bring a photocopy of their application acknowledgment and a valid photo identification document.

Documents Required for PET & DV

All candidates appearing for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification (DV) must bring the following original documents along with one set of photocopies:

• PET Admit Card
• Online Application Acknowledgment
• Valid Photo Identity Proof (e.g., Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card)
• Educational Qualification Certificates:
  • Intermediate or equivalent pass certificate for Advertisement No. 01/2026 and 02/2026.
  • Graduation or equivalent pass certificate for Advertisement No. 05/2025.
• Date of Birth Proof (Original Matriculation Certificate)
• Caste Certificate (for SC, ST, EBC, BC categories): Issued by a competent authority. For married/unmarried female candidates, the certificate must be based on their father's address.
• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for BC, EBC categories): Issued by a competent authority. For married/unmarried female candidates, the certificate must be based on their father's address.
• Domicile Certificate: Proof of permanent residency in Bihar state (for all reserved category candidates).
• EWS Certificate: For candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section, based on income and assets for the financial year 2024-2025, as per Bihar Government's General Administration Department notification no. 2622 dated 26 February 2019.
• Freedom Fighter's Grandchildren Certificate: If applicable, as per Bihar Government's General Administration Department letter no. 11687/सा०प्र० dated 30 August 2016.
• Bihar Government Employee Certificate: For serving Bihar Government employees who have completed a minimum of three years of continuous service by the cut-off date mentioned in the advertisement. Must be issued by the controlling officer.
• Ex-Servicemen Documents: PPO (Pension Payment Order) and Discharge Book.
• Transgender Candidates: Bihar Domicile Certificate and Transgender Certificate issued by a competent authority.
• Home Guard Certificate (for Advertisement No. 02/2026 only): Proof of enrollment and training in Bihar Home Guard with at least 5 years of service/duty, along with a valid Home Guard identity card.

Selection Process

The selection process for these recruitments involves the following stages:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): All candidates who qualified the written examination must participate in the PET on the scheduled date. Failure to attend will result in disqualification, and no second opportunity or extension will be provided.
2. Document Verification: Candidates who successfully clear the PET will proceed to the Document Verification stage, where all original documents will be scrutinized.
