Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Applicants should possess a Degree or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering from a university or institution recognized by the government.
• Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in a relevant discipline at an executive cadre level in an Industrial, Commercial, or Government undertaking is essential.
• For Absorption/Deputation: Officers must either hold analogous posts in their current organization or be in a feeder post with at least five years of regular service in the grade within a Major Port Trust.

Selection Process

2. Fill Application Form: Complete the application form accurately and legibly in English.
3. Gather Documents: Prepare attested copies of the following documents:
   • Educational and Professional qualifications.
   • ACRs/APARs for the last five years.
   • No-Objection Certificate from the current Port.
   • Two recent passport-size colour photographs (to be enclosed in a sealed envelope).
   • An undertaking stating non-withdrawal of candidature if selected.
   • Certificate by the Head of Office (as per Annexure-III).
   • Vigilance/Administrative clearance (as per Annexure-IV).
   • Order declaring satisfactory completion of probation period in the feeder post.
   • Details regarding unauthorized/EOL during the qualifying service period, or a Nil Certificate if none.
4. Verify Certificates: Ensure the veracity and recognition of all university certificates.
5. Submit Through Proper Channel: Forward the complete application along with all required documents through the proper channel (i.e., through your current employer/Port Authority) to reach the Cochin Port Authority.
6. Submission Address: The application must reach the Administrative Office, Cochin Port Authority, on or before 24 September 2026.
