Eligible candidates include Engineering Graduates, Non-Engineering Graduates, and Diploma holders who completed their qualifying examination in the last five years, specifically from 2022 to 2026.

Eligibility Requirements for SCCL Apprenticeship
To be eligible for the SCCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27, candidates must meet specific criteria.
- Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination (Engineering Degree, Non-Engineering Degree, or Diploma) in one of the years from 2022 to 2026. Applications from candidates who passed in any other year will be rejected.
- Applicants must select an apprenticeship branch that directly matches their qualification, as specified in the vacancy breakdown (e.g., Mining, EEE, BA, B.Sc).
- Individuals who have already completed or are currently undergoing training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, in SCCL or any other organization are not eligible. An undertaking confirming this must be submitted.
- While not mandatory, preference may be given to candidates demonstrating proficiency in AI, Systems, MS Office, and MS Excel.
- Priority consideration will be given to children of current or retired SCCL employees, as well as Project Affected Family (PAF) or Project Displaced Family (PDF) candidates, in line with SCCL's existing policies. Reservations for Local, Caste, and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories will be applied, and any unfilled reserved slots may be converted to the open category.
Stipend Structure for Apprentices
Apprentices selected for the SCCL training program will receive a monthly stipend.
| Category | Stipend (per full payable muster month) |
|---|
| Engineering & Non-Engineering Graduates | Rs. 12,300/- |
| Diploma Holders | Rs. 10,900/- |
The stipend is jointly funded, with 50% contributed by SCCL and 50% by BOAT (Southern Region)/NATS 2.0, Ministry of Education, Government of India. Payments are made directly into the apprentice's Aadhaar-enabled bank account via the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. It is crucial for selected candidates to complete e-KYC and ensure their Union Bank of India (UBI) account is linked to Aadhaar, as SCCL will not be responsible for non-payment due to unlinked accounts. Apprentices are not entitled to any additional financial or service benefits beyond this monthly stipend during their one-year training period, as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Important Instructions for Applicants
Applicants should be aware of several key instructions to ensure a smooth application and training process.
- Any suppression of facts by the applicant will lead to disqualification at any stage or termination even after joining the apprenticeship.
