Eligibility Criteria for RCF Management Trainee Posts

To be eligible for the RCF Management Trainee Recruitment 2026, candidates must be Indian citizens and meet specific educational qualifications and age limits as of February 1, 2026. Final year students are not eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification Requirements

The required educational qualification varies significantly by discipline. Salary Structure and Service Bond

Selected Management Trainees will receive a stipend of ₹60,000 per month during their one-year training period. They will also be provided with free hostel accommodation on a sharing basis at Trombay/Thal units and medical facilities. Upon successful completion of training, they will be absorbed into the E1 Grade, with a pay scale of ₹40,000–₹140,000. The approximate gross monthly emoluments in this grade are ₹86,320. A service bond of ₹2 lakh is mandatory for selected candidates, to be deposited as a fixed deposit with a lien marked to RCF Ltd for a period of four years, including the training period.

Application Fee for RCF MT Recruitment

The application fee for the RCF Management Trainee Recruitment 2026 is ₹1,000 for General, OBC (NCL), and EWS candidates, plus applicable bank charges and GST. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, and female categories are exempted from paying the application fee. The fee must be paid online and is non-refundable.

RCF Management Trainee Selection Process

The selection process for RCF Management Trainee posts involves two main stages: an Online Test and a Personal Interview.

Online Test

The online test is a computer-based objective examination lasting 90 minutes. It comprises 100 questions: 50 questions (each carrying 2 marks) from the candidate's relevant discipline/qualifying degree, and 50 questions (each carrying 1 mark) covering General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Knowledge/Awareness. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers. The test will be conducted in Hindi (Rajbhasha) and English at various centers across India, including Bhopal, Delhi/NCR, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai/MMR, and Nagpur.

Personal Interview

Candidates who perform well in the online test and whose documents are verified will be provisionally shortlisted for a personal interview. The ratio for calling candidates for the interview is approximately 1:7 (seven candidates for each post). To qualify, candidates must achieve a minimum average score of 50% in the interview. Outstation candidates are eligible for reimbursement of III-tier AC train/bus fare for both the online test and interview.

Final Merit List

The final merit list is prepared based on a weighted score: 80% from the online test and 20% from the personal interview. Separate merit lists are generated for each category and discipline. Final selection is also subject to document verification and a pre-employment medical examination.
