Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications

Applicants must meet specific educational qualifications and percentage/CGPA requirements as detailed below. Age Limit and Relaxation

The age limits for various posts are calculated as of the last date of online application (21 August 2026). Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates will be provided as per Government of India rules.

Application Fee

The application fee for all candidates is ₹250/-. However, the fee is refundable for Women, SC/ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen candidates, subject to meeting eligibility criteria and participating in the selection process. Refunds will be processed to the bank account details provided in the application form.

Salary and Emoluments

Selected candidates will receive competitive emoluments along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Dearness Allowance (DA) as per Government of India norms.

Selection Process

The selection process for these temporary research positions at NRSC involves two main stages:

1. Application Screening — NRSC will screen all received applications based on the prescribed eligibility criteria. The organization reserves the right to set additional criteria for shortlisting candidates.
2. Interview — Only candidates who are screened-in or shortlisted will be called for an interview. Communication regarding interviews will be sent via email. No correspondence will be entertained for candidates not shortlisted.

Documents Required for Application

Applicants must upload clear scanned copies of the following documents during the online application process:

Place of Posting

Selected candidates will primarily be posted at NRSC facilities in Hyderabad and Shadnagar (Rangareddy District). However, they may also be required to serve at other NRSC/RRSC campuses located in Delhi, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Kolkata, and Jodhpur, based on organizational needs. Furthermore, appointment carries the liability to be posted anywhere in India under the Department of Space/ISRO.

• These positions are purely temporary for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of five years for JRF and Research Scientists, based on performance and project validity.
• Appointed candidates will not have any claim for regular appointment in NRSC/ISRO.
