Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

• Full Time/Part Time Super Specialist (Cardiology & Oncology): Applicants need an MBBS degree, MD, and DM/DNB in the respective super specialty. For Oncology, if no Super Specialty qualified candidates are available, specialists with Radiotherapy qualifications (MDRT/DNB RT or Diploma in RT) and relevant experience (3 years for degree holders, 5 years for diploma holders) may be considered.
• Full Time/Part Time Specialist: Candidates must possess an MBBS degree and a PG Degree or equivalent in the concerned specialty. For ICU posts, a PG Degree/Diploma in Critical Care/Anaesthesia/General Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine is required. For Casualty, preference will be given to Postgraduates in Critical Care; if unavailable, PG Degree/Diploma in Anaesthesia/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine or Paediatrics may be considered.
• Senior Resident: A PG Degree or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty is essential. If PG candidates are not available, MBBS graduates with 2 years of experience (at least one year in the concerned specialty from a government or reputed private hospital) will be considered. PG Doctors will receive preference in Casualty and Surgery Departments. Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency from any Government Institute are exempt from the interview.

Salary and Remuneration

• Full Time Super Specialist: Entry-level earns ₹2,00,000/-, while Senior-level earns ₹2,40,000/- per month.
• Part Time Super Specialist: Entry-level receives a fixed remuneration of ₹1,00,000/-, and Senior-level receives ₹1,50,000/-. Both are eligible for additional payments for emergency visits and extra hours.
• Full Time Specialist: Entry-level (3 years experience post PG) earns approximately ₹1,55,044/-, and Senior-level (5 years experience post PG) earns ₹1,76,541/-.
• Part Time Specialist: Fixed remuneration is ₹60,000/- per month, with additional payments for emergency visits and extra hours.
• Senior Resident: Total emoluments are approximately ₹1,55,044/- for PG Degree holders. Deductions apply for Diploma holders (₹1,688/-) and those without a Diploma or Degree (₹2,813/-).

Selection Process

How to Apply for ESIC Hospital Udyogamandal Recruitment

1. Download the prescribed application proforma (Annexure II) from the official notification.
2. Fill out the application form accurately with all required details.
3. Affix a recent passport-size photograph to the application form.
4. Prepare all original documents, including educational certificates, experience certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), and identity proof.
5. Make one set of photocopies of all original documents.
6. Bring the filled application form, all original documents, one set of photocopies, and the Demand Draft for the application fee (if applicable) to the interview venue.
7. Report at ESIC Hospital, Udyogamandal, Ernakulam, Kerala, on 17 August 2026, at 09:00 AM for registration. Registration will close at 10:00 AM.

Important Instructions

• Candidates arriving after 9:15 AM will not be permitted to participate in the interview process.
• SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates must produce valid caste certificates issued by a competent authority as per Government of India instructions. OBC certificates must certify that candidates do not belong to the Creamy Layer.
• Private practice is not allowed for Full Time Super Specialists.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the walk-in interview.
• The number of vacancies may change based on actual requirements on the interview date.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• Only candidates with TCMC/MCI degree registration are eligible to attend the interview.
• Retired State/Central Government hospital employees must submit their Pension Payment Order and pay slip of the last pay drawn.
• In case of any confusion or ambiguity, the English version of the notification shall prevail.
