Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications

• For Engineering Graduates: A Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in a professional course with a First Division, along with a valid NET or GATE qualification.
• For Engineering Postgraduates: A Master's degree (M.E./M.Tech) in a professional course with a First Division at both the graduate and postgraduate levels.
• For Science Postgraduates: A Post Graduate degree in Basic Science with a First Division, along with a valid NET qualification.

• Strong foundational knowledge in problem-solving, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
• Expertise in at least one major programming language such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with classical AI algorithms, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning techniques.
• Practical experience with software libraries like PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, TensorRT, and PyTorchMobile.
• Additionally, candidates should possess comprehensive knowledge in one of these specialized areas:
  • Speech and Language Technology, including speech recognition, natural language understanding (NLP), and Machine Translation.
  • 3D Vision, including Simultaneous Mapping and Localization (SLAM) and ROS.

Age Limit and Relaxation

Fellowship Emoluments

Selected Junior Research Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of ₹37,000. Additionally, House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided at 30% of the stipend, bringing the total emoluments to ₹48,100 per month. If accommodation is provided by DRDO, the HRA component will be deducted.
