The Central University of Odisha (CUO), Koraput, has announced a recruitment drive for temporary research personnel under an ICSSR-funded Major Research Project. This Central University of Odisha Research Assistant Recruitment 2026 aims to fill 3 positions for Research Assistant and Field Investigator to work on a project titled "Enhancing Tribal and Small holder Rural Livelihoods through Sustainable Agricultural Innovations: A Study of Farming Systems in KBK Districts of Odisha." The appointments are on a temporary basis, governed by the norms of the Central University of Odisha for project staff.

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and other requirements for each post to be considered for these research positions.

Research Assistant	Ph.D., M.Phil., NET, or Post Graduate degree in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.	Proficiency in Data Science, GIS, SPSS, or R is essential.
Field Investigator	Graduate degree in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.	Must be proficient in English and Odia languages (reading, writing, speaking, translation, and computer skills). Willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork in rural/interior areas is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a 4-year graduation program.

Remuneration Details

The selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration as per ICSSR guidelines for project staff.
