Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Operator on Tenure Basis positions at BEML Limited, candidates must fulfill specific educational and certification requirements as of 10 July 2026.
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a First-class (60%) Industrial Training Institute (ITI) course certificate in their respective trade. This must be accompanied by a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Selection Process
The selection process for the Operator on Tenure Basis posts at BEML Limited involves a multi-stage evaluation designed to assess candidates' knowledge and suitability for the roles.
- Written Test (Computer Based Test - CBT): This is the primary stage of selection. The CBT will be a 2-hour duration test consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The test is divided into three parts:

The number of candidates called for this stage will be limited to the number of positions notified for each discipline and category. Candidates must bring all relevant original certificates, testimonials, identity proof, and caste certificates (in Central Govt. format), along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Travel Allowance (TA) will be reimbursed for Sleeper Class / II Class train fare or bus fare by the shortest route, upon production of travel proof.
- Pre-employment Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully clear the document verification stage will receive a provisional offer and must undergo a pre-employment medical examination. No relaxation in health standards will be permitted. A final offer of engagement will be issued upon satisfactory receipt of the medical report as per BEML's medical standards.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The Computer Based Written Test (CBT) for the Operator on Tenure Basis positions will follow a specific pattern:
