Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
• Domicile: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam. Proof of domicile can be a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes or a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
• Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess at least a Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science from any university or institution recognized by the government.

Age Limit and Relaxation

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age (General/Unreserved): 38 years
• SC/ST Candidates: The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, making it up to 43 years.
• OBC/MOBC Candidates: The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years, making it up to 41 years.
• Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): A 10-year age relaxation is applicable, irrespective of their category (SC/ST/OBC/UR).
• Ex-servicemen: The maximum age for unreserved ex-servicemen is 50 years. Further relaxations apply for OBC/MOBC (3 years, up to 53 years) and SC/ST (5 years, up to 55 years) ex-servicemen.

Salary Structure

• Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- per month
• Grade Pay: Rs. 12,700/-
• Pay Band: 4
• Other allowances as admissible to Assam State Government employees will also be provided.

2. If not already registered, click on 'Register Here' and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process using a valid email and mobile number.
3. Log in using your registered email/mobile number and password.
4. Fill in all required registration details accurately as prompted in the online form.
5. Carefully read the eligibility criteria and other details before proceeding. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
6. Upload all necessary documents and certificates (Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Caste Certificate, etc.) in PDF format. Ensure each file is legible, scanned at 200 dpi in greyscale, and does not exceed 4 MB.
7. Upload a recent passport-sized Photograph (50 KB - 200 KB, not older than 3 months) and Signature (50 KB - 200 KB).
8. Review all details using the 'Preview' option before final submission. No editing will be allowed after final submission.
9. Proceed to pay the application fee online. In case of payment failure, use the 'Check Status' option to verify.
10. After successful submission, a confirmation email/SMS will be sent. Take a printout of the submitted Online Application Form for future reference.

Documents Required

• Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet clearly indicating Date of Birth.
• Certificates and Mark sheets of all examinations from HSLC onwards up to the qualifying degree.
• Experience Certificate (if applicable).
• Caste Certificate issued by the Government of Assam for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates.
• BPL Certificate issued by the Government of Assam (if applicable).
• Declaration Form-A related to the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019. This form can be downloaded from www.apsc.nic.in (Forms & Downloads Section).
• Any other documentary support for claims made in the application.
