    • NET/SLET/SET is not required for Master's programmes in disciplines where these tests are not conducted by UGC, CSIR, or similar accredited bodies.
  • Eligibility B:
    • A Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), Times Higher Education (THE), or Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Relaxation for Reserved Categories:

A relaxation of 5% in marks at both Bachelor's and Master's levels is provided for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Schedule Tribe/Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) and Differently-Abled categories for eligibility and assessing Good Academic Record.
