Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Internship: Completion of a compulsory internship is mandatory, along with a valid internship completion certificate.
• Medical Registration: Candidates must be registered under any State Medical Council.
• MBBS Passing Date: The MBBS degree (including internship) must have been passed not earlier than three years before the start date of Junior Residency, i.e., 28th July 2026.
• Previous Junior Residency: Candidates who have already completed two terms of Junior Residency (Non-Academic) at any AIIMS or other institutions will not be considered.
• PwBD Certificate: A valid Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) certificate, issued by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of a hospital/institution under the State or Central Government, is essential.

Selection Process

1. Online Registration: Interested and eligible candidates must first register online using the provided link by the specified deadline.
2. Document Verification: On the day of the Written Exam and/or Interview, candidates must bring their original documents along with self-attested photocopies for verification. Only candidates found eligible after verification will be permitted to proceed.
3. Written Examination: A tentative Written Exam will be conducted on 05th August 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This will be an MCQ-based test covering the MBBS curriculum.
4. Result Declaration: A list of the top 10 shortlisted candidates from the written examination will be displayed at 01:00 PM on the Academic Notice Board, Academic Section, Ground Floor, Academic Building-I, AIIMS Kalyani.
5. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will proceed to an interview, tentatively scheduled to start from 01:30 PM onwards on 05th August 2026. If the interview cannot be completed on the same day, candidates may be required to attend on a subsequent day.
6. Final Selection: The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the Written Exam and/or Interview.

2. Document Upload: During online registration, upload all mandatory documents, including MBBS Mark Sheets, Internship Completion Certificate, Medical Registration Certificate, MBBS Degree Certificate, Passport Size Photograph, Aadhar Card, Age Proof, and a valid PwBD certificate.
3. Application Form: Download and fill out the application form annexed to the advertisement in the prescribed format.
4. Demand Draft: Obtain a Demand Draft for Rs. 1,000/- in favour of "AIIMS KALYANI INTERNAL RESOURCES ACCOUNT" payable at Kalyani, unless exempted.
5. Attend Exam/Interview: Report to the Examination Hall, Ground Floor, Auditorium Building, AIIMS Kalyani on 05th August 2026 at 08:30 AM with all original documents, one set of self-attested photocopies, the filled application form, and the Demand Draft.
6. Document Verification: Undergo document verification from 08:30 AM to 09:30 AM.
