1. Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) Score-based Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the main examination based on their normalized PET-2025 score. The number of shortlisted candidates will be up to 15 times the total notified vacancies, including all candidates who score the same as the cut-off normalized score. Candidates with a zero or negative score in PET-2025 will not be considered for shortlisting.
2. Written Examination: The main selection stage is a written examination.
   • The exam will consist of 100 objective/multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark, for a total of 100 marks.
   • The duration of the examination will be 2 hours (120 minutes).
   • There will be a negative marking of 25 percent (1/4th) of the marks for each incorrect answer.

3. Log in using your PET-2025 registration number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number/email.
4. Verify your personal details, category, and other information automatically populated from your PET-2025 application.
5. Select the specific post(s) you wish to apply for. Unselected posts will not be considered.
6. Enter your educational qualifications, including board/university name, passing year, certificate/roll number, and marks. Also, provide details for any preferential eligibility.
7. Confirm your photo and signature, which are carried forward from PET-2025 and cannot be edited.
8. Fill in any remaining details, such as preferential qualification (Yes/No) and your address as recorded in PET-2025.
9. Carefully read the declaration, tick all agreement points, enter the verification code, and click "Save and Submit".
10. Pay the application fee using Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking/UPI or an SBI e-challan.
11. Download and print the final submitted application form for your records.

Important Instructions for Applicants

• Candidates must thoroughly review the advertisement to ensure they meet all qualification and age limit requirements before applying.
• Applications will only be accepted through the online system. Any other mode of application will be rejected.
• Candidates seeking reservation benefits must possess valid caste/reservation certificates, issued by a competent authority in the prescribed format, by the application deadline.
• EWS certificates must be issued between April 1, 2026, and September 29, 2026, based on financial year 2025-26 income and valid for financial year 2026-27, as per UP Government guidelines.
• Reservation certificates for Dependents of Freedom Fighters or Ex-Servicemen must comply with the UP Public Service (Reservation for Physically Handicapped, Dependents of Freedom Fighters, and Ex-Servicemen) Act, 1993.
• Divyangjan candidates must possess a disability certificate in the prescribed format, clearly stating the disability category/sub-category, and update their application accordingly.
• For women candidates, reservation category will be determined based on their father's side, and only caste certificates issued from the father's side are valid.
• Only one application per candidate will be accepted. If multiple applications are submitted, only the last one will be considered valid.
• Permissible corrections to the application form can be made only until October 6, 2026. No revisions will be allowed after this date.
