Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification required is Intermediate (12th Pass) or its equivalent. The maximum acceptable qualification is Post Graduate.
• Gender: Only female candidates are eligible to apply for these positions.
• Residency: Applicants must be permanent residents of the specific ward or Gram Sabha where the vacancy exists. If no eligible candidate from the specified category is available in that Gram Sabha, then a permanent resident of the concerned Nyay Panchayat will be considered. For urban areas, the online-issued residence certificate must clearly state the ward number/name.
• Income Certificate: The income certificate submitted must be issued by a competent authority as per UP Government rules and should not be older than three years from the notification date. The BPL income limit is Rs 46,080 for rural areas and Rs 56,460 for urban areas.
• Caste Certificate: Caste certificates, if applicable, must be issued online with a digital signature by the Tehsil.

Selection Process

1. Application Scrutiny: All online applications will be thoroughly checked for completeness and adherence to eligibility conditions.
2. Merit List Preparation: A merit list will be prepared based on the academic qualifications of eligible candidates.
3. Preference Criteria: Significant preference will be given to certain vulnerable categories in the following order:
   • Widow women from families below the poverty line (BPL) residing in the same Gram Sabha/ward.
   • Legally divorced or abandoned women from BPL families residing in the same Gram Sabha/ward.
   • Other women from BPL families residing in the same Gram Sabha/ward, if candidates from the above categories are not available.
   If no eligible candidates are found from BPL families, the same preference order will apply to women from families above the poverty line (APL) residing in the same Gram Sabha/ward.
4. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification to confirm the authenticity of their submitted credentials.
