Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and other requirements to be considered for the Guest Faculty position:

Guest Faculty (Master of Social Work)	A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in Social Work from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. A 5% relaxation in marks at the Master's level is provided for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), as per UGC/Panjab University norms.	Applicants must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC (such as SLET/SET). Alternatively, candidates must possess a Ph.D. Degree awarded in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, and subsequent amendments. Candidates registered for a Ph.D. program prior to 11 July 2009 are governed by the then-existing UGC Regulations/University Ordinances and may be exempt from the NET/SLET/SET requirement, subject to fulfilling conditions certified by the Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs). Desirable experience includes teaching Postgraduate classes for the Master of Social Work program.

Salary Structure

The selected Guest Faculty will receive an honorarium per lecture, subject to a monthly maximum.

Selection Process

The selection for the Guest Faculty position will be based on an interview.

1. Interview — Eligible candidates will be required to appear for an in-person interview before the Selection Committee.

The selected candidate will also need to furnish an undertaking stating that they are not receiving any fellowship, stipend, or financial assistance from any agency during their engagement as Guest Faculty.
