About the NHAI Young Professional Recruitment 2026

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, has released a recruitment notification for Young Professional (Legal) positions. This NHAI Young Professional Recruitment 2026 aims to engage qualified candidates on a contract basis for deployment in the LA Division at NHAI Headquarters. The selection process will primarily rely on the merit obtained in the CLAT (Post Graduate) 2026 Score.

Vacancy Details and Reservation

NHAI is inviting applications for a total of 5 Young Professional (Legal) posts. One position is specifically reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per NHAI policy.

Selection Process

The selection for the Young Professional (Legal) posts will be strictly based on merit.

1. CLAT (Post Graduate) Score - 2026 — Candidates will be shortlisted and selected solely based on their merit in the Common Law Admission Test (Post Graduate) 2026 score.

In case of a tie in CLAT (PG)-2026 scores, the candidate born earlier will be placed higher in the merit list. If dates of birth are also the same, merit will be determined by the alphabetical order of their initial names.
