Maharishi Valmiki Hospital (MVH) in Pooth Khurd, Delhi, has issued a notification for the recruitment of Senior Resident (Adhoc) positions for the year 2026. • Alternative Qualification (if PG candidates are unavailable): In cases where candidates with a Post Graduate degree are not available, individuals with at least two years of experience in a Government Hospital or Government Institution in the relevant specialty will be considered. These appointments will be purely on an Adhoc basis for 89 days.

Salary Structure

Selected Senior Residents will receive a competitive salary package as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) guidelines:

• Basic Pay: Rs. 67,700/-
• Pay Matrix: Level 11 of the Revised Pay Matrix.
• Additional Benefits: Other allowances will be admissible as per government rules.

Important Instructions

• The appointment for Senior Resident (Adhoc) posts will be for a period of 89 days or until a fresh/regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. The adhoc tenure may be extended up to a maximum period of one year.
• The services of Adhoc Senior Residents are subject to termination upon the joining of regular Senior Residents through the Government of NCT of Delhi or regular interview processes, even if the 89-day tenure is not completed.
• If candidates from reserved categories do not appear for the interview, the seats may be filled from other categories as per the reservation policy.
• Candidates who have already completed three years of Senior Residency but are willing to serve as Senior Residents can also apply. They will be offered residency only if no fresh Senior Residents are available.
