Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), a Central University operating under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released a notification for the engagement of Caretakers (Male), Cooks (for Girl Hostels), and Helpers (for Girl Hostels) on a short-term contractual basis. This MANUU Caretaker Recruitment 2026 drive aims to fill 13 positions for its hostels located at the MANUU Campus in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in interview.

Selection Process

The selection for these contractual posts will be based entirely on a walk-in interview. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves regarding the eligibility conditions and job requirements before appearing for the interview.

Period of Engagement

The engagement is purely on a short-term contract basis, initially for a period of 89 days. This period may be further extended based on performance and the University's requirements.

Documents Required for Walk-in Interview

Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview must bring the following documents:

• Original certificates of proof of education, experience, age, etc.
• One set of self-attested photocopies of all the above certificates.
• One passport-size photograph.
• Details of two references, including their contact numbers and email IDs, for verification of professional experience.

Candidates must register their names by 09:30 AM at the University Guest House on the day of the interview. Those reporting after the scheduled registration time will not be entertained.

General Instructions

• The engagement is purely contractual for 89 days, extendable based on performance.
• Knowledge of Urdu is preferred for all positions.
• The University reserves the right not to fill the advertised post(s) or to cancel the Walk-in Interview without assigning any reason.
• No TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing for the Walk-in-Interview.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic ineligibility.
