Indian Army NCC Special Entry Recruitment 2027 – 6 Posts, Apply

1. Application Submission — Candidates must submit their applications online through the official Indian Army website.
2. Shortlisting of Applications — Applications will be shortlisted based on bonus marks awarded for NCC 'C' Certificate performance and aggregate graduation marks.
3. SSB Interview — Shortlisted candidates will undergo a five-day Services Selection Board (SSB) interview at designated Selection Centres (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jalandhar). This involves a two-stage selection procedure.
4. Medical Examination — Candidates who are recommended after Stage II of the SSB interview will proceed for a medical examination.
5. Merit List Preparation — A final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in the SSB interview.

Selection Process

1. Application Submission — Candidates must submit their applications online through the official Indian Army website.
2. Shortlisting of Applications — Applications will be shortlisted based on bonus marks awarded for NCC 'C' Certificate performance (maximum 50 marks) and aggregate graduation marks (maximum 50 marks). A merit list will be prepared after awarding these bonus marks.
3. SSB Interview — Shortlisted candidates will undergo a five-day Services Selection Board (SSB) interview at designated Selection Centres (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jalandhar). This involves a two-stage selection procedure. Candidates clearing Stage I proceed to Stage II.
4. Medical Examination — Candidates who are recommended after Stage II of the SSB interview will proceed for a medical examination. The SSB medical examination is valid for 270 days.
5. Merit List Preparation — A final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in the SSB interview. In case of equal SSB marks, older candidates are ranked higher. If both SSB marks and age are equal, candidates with a higher percentage in the qualifying examination are ranked higher.
6. Joining Letter — Medically fit candidates, who fall within the stipulated vacancies and meet all eligibility criteria, will be issued joining letters for Pre-Commission training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.

Pay Scale and Benefits

• Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500 per month (for Lieutenant to Brigadier)
• Dearness Allowance (DA): Admissible at rates applicable to civilian personnel.

How to Apply — Step by Step

1. Visit the official website: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
2. Click on 'Officer Entry Application/Login' and then 'Registration' (if not already registered).
3. Fill out the online registration form carefully.
4. After registration, click on 'Apply Online' under the Dashboard.
5. Select 'Short Service Commission NCC Special Entry Course' and click 'Apply'.
6. Fill in all required details in the application form, including personal information, communication details, education details, and previous SSB details.
7. Click 'Save & Continue' after each segment.
8. Review all entered details on the 'Summary of your information' page.
9. After confirming correctness, click 'Submit'.
10. Candidates must take out two copies of their application form with the Roll Number, 30 minutes after the final closure of online application, for future reference.

Documents Required

• Printout of the online application form, duly signed and affixed with a self-attested photograph.
• Matriculation/Secondary School Examination Certificate or equivalent (for Date of Birth, Candidate's Name, Parent's Name).
• 12th Class Certificate and Mark Sheet.
• Graduation Degree/Provisional Degree issued by a recognized university. The provisional degree should not be more than six months old as on 01 April 2027 (issued between 01 October 2026 to 01 April 2027).
• Marks Sheets of all years/semesters of the graduation course.
• NCC 'C' Certificate (Date of issue must be on or before the online application submission date). Not required for Wards of Battle Casualties.
• Certificate regarding CGPA conversion to marks (if applicable) and aggregate percentage from the concerned University.
• For final year appearing candidates: Certificate from Principal/Head of Institution stating that the candidate is in the final year and results will be declared by 01 April 2027.
• For Wards of Battle Casualties: 'Battle Casualty' certificate, copy of Manpower (Policy & Planning) Directorate/Regimental Records Part II Order Number, and Relationship Certificate Number.
