The Foreigners Tribunal-1, Sribhumi, Assam, has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Data Entry Operator. This recruitment, approved by the Government of Assam, Political (B) Department, Dispur, aims to fill 2 vacant posts through a walk-in interview process. The selected candidates will be appointed on a purely fixed-pay contractual basis for an initial period of one year, with potential for further extension based on approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications to be eligible for the Data Entry Operator post:

Age Limit

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not more than 40 years old as on 01 January 2026. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the existing Government norms. Candidates are required to submit an age proof certificate, such as a Birth Certificate or HSLC Passed Certificate, along with their application.

Salary Structure

The appointed Data Entry Operators will receive a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand only).

Selection Procedure

The selection process for the Data Entry Operator posts will be based entirely on a walk-in interview. Candidates arriving at the venue by 1:00 PM on the interview date will be considered for the selection process. Those arriving after the specified time will not be entertained.

How to Attend the Walk-in Interview

Interested and eligible candidates should attend the walk-in interview on 09 August 2026 at the District Commissioner's office, Sribhumi. Candidates must report by 1:00 PM on the interview day. Applicants are required to bring the following documents for submission:

• All required testimonials related to age, educational qualifications.
• Employment registration certificate.
• Three recent passport-size colored photographs, self-attested.
• A comprehensive Bio-Data.
• Mobile Number.
• Age proof certificate (Birth Certificate or HSLC Passed Certificate).

Incomplete applications or documents will lead to rejection without assigning any reason. Candidates are responsible for any mistakes made in their application. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.

Result Notification

The names of the selected candidates for the Data Entry Operator post will be announced on 12 August 2026 at 2:00 PM. The results will be displayed on the notice board of Foreigners Tribunal-I, Sribhumi.
