1. Merit Calculation — 75% weightage for marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

4. Working Area Weightage — Additional marks for service in Tribal (2.5 marks/6 months), Rural (2.0 marks/6 months), or Urban (1.0 mark/6 months) areas.
5. COVID-19 Service Weightage — 5.0 marks per six months of service (0.83 marks per completed month) for COVID-19 duties, or 0.8 marks per completed month if less than 6 months.
6. Merit List Publication — A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained.

Selection Process

1. Academic Marks (75% Weightage): 75% of the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (SSC/10th class or equivalent) will be considered.
2. Experience Weightage (Up to 10 Marks): 1.0 mark will be awarded for each completed year of experience after acquiring the requisite qualification, reckoned up to the date of notification.
3. Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium Service Weightage (Up to 15 Marks): Weightage will be given to candidates who have rendered service on a contract, outsourcing, or honorarium basis, including COVID-19 service. This is subject to satisfactory service certification by the competent authority as per relevant Government Orders. If an individual worked less than 6 months for COVID-19, 0.8 marks per completed month will be awarded.
4. Working Area Weightage:
   • 5.0 marks per six months of service for COVID-19 duties (0.83 marks per completed month).
   • 2.5 marks per six months in Tribal Area.
   • 2.0 marks per six months in Rural Area.
   • 1.0 mark per six months in Urban areas.
   No weightage will be given for services less than six months for non-COVID service.
5. COVID-19 Weightage Applicability: This weightage applies only to persons who rendered COVID-19 services on contract/outsourcing/honorarium basis, appointed by the District Collector or other competent authority, and certified by controlling officers. Previously taken certificates are valid, but fresh certificates are needed for any additional service period.

1. Download Application Proforma: The application proforma will be available on the official portal, https://nandyal.ap.gov.in, from 10:00 AM on 20 July 2026.
2. Fill Application Form: Complete the application form with all required details.
3. Prepare Documents: Gather two sets of self-attested copies of all necessary certificates. Refer to the "Documents Required" section for a complete list.
4. Attach Demand Draft: Enclose the demand draft for the application fee as applicable.
5. Submit Application: Submit the filled application form along with two sets of attachments (certificates) to the specified counters in the Office of the District Co-ordinator of Hospital Services, Nandyal (within the premises of Government General Hospital, Nandyal), Nandyal District.
6. Obtain Acknowledgment: Ensure you obtain a dated acknowledgment from the receiving authority as proof of submission.
7. Deadline: The last date for submission of physical applications is 05:30 PM on 27 July 2026. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute rush.

Documents Required

• SSC or its equivalent certificate (for date of birth proof).
• Pass certificates of qualifications prescribed for the posts concerned.
• Marks memos of all years of qualifying examination or its equivalent.
• Valid certificate of registration in A.P. Para Medical Board/Allied Health Care sciences / any other council (if applicable).
• Study Certificates from Class 4th to 10th from the school where the candidate studied.
• Local candidature certificate for 7 years preceding 10th class passing, or certificate of residence (Form Appendix I).
• Copy of valid caste certificate (SC-I, SC-II, SC-III, ST, BC-A,B,C,D,E).
• Latest EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) certificate issued by the competent authority, valid for the year 2026-27.
• Certificate of disability issued in SADAREM (if applicable).
• Service certificate from the controlling officer concerned (DM&HO/DCHS/Principals of GMCs/Superintendent of GGH/Any competent authority who appointed the applicant) for claiming weightage for Contract/outsourcing/honorary service.
• Ex-serviceman certificate (if applicable).
• Passport size latest colour photograph affixed to the application form.
