Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Experience will be counted after the completion of the minimum essential qualification and should preferably be from Government Organizations or reputed national/international organizations in the relevant field.

Age Limit and Relaxation

Salary and Remuneration

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary, inclusive of HRA, as detailed below. No other allowances will be provided.

Selection Process

The selection process for these temporary posts will be based on an interview conducted by a competent selection panel.

1. Application Submission and Shortlisting: Candidates must submit their applications as per the instructions. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed via email for the interview.
2. Interview: The interview can be attended either online or offline, as per the candidate's choice. It will assess knowledge in Research Methodology, Human Resource & Financial Management, Child Health, Social Science Research (with a focus on women and child health), Biostatistics, and Data analysis.
3. Document Verification: On the day of the interview, shortlisted candidates must bring their duly filled application form, self-attested photocopies of all required documents (proof of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience, caste certificate if applicable, registration with statutory council), and original certificates for verification.

No walk-in applications will be entertained on the day of the interview. The decision of the competent authority in the selection process will be final.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Project Research Scientists will assist the Principal Investigator in various project activities, including literature review, microplanning, data collection, quality assurance, supervision, qualitative interviews, data analysis, report writing, dissemination, staff selection, liaison with government officials, procurement, financial record-keeping, and other assigned tasks. Employees are required to have a valid driver's license for a two-wheeler (with gear) & car, and own/arrange a vehicle for project-related travel. The place of work will primarily be Bhopal and Chhindwara Districts of Madhya Pradesh, with potential travel to other districts and states.

Contractual Nature and Tenure

These appointments are purely on a contract basis for 12 months, specifically for an externally funded project. The tenure may be extended subject to performance and further approval from the funding agency. Appointments do not confer any claim to regular posts at AIIMS Bhopal or the Funding Agency. The contract can be terminated by either party with 30 days' notice or salary in lieu thereof.
