Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the essential eligibility criteria as detailed in “Annexure-A,” which is available separately on the Institute's website. This includes specific educational qualifications and experience requirements for each faculty post. All qualifications and experience will be counted as of the closing date of application, 21 August 2026.

Age Limits and Relaxation

The upper age limit for Professor and Additional Professor posts is 58 years, while for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, it is 50 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Government of India rules:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC candidates: 3 years
• Government Servants: 5 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): As per DOPT guidelines
• Ex-servicemen: As per DOPT guidelines

No age relaxation is applicable for EWS candidates. Candidates applying for unreserved vacancies will not receive age relaxation benefits for SC/ST/OBC categories.

Selection Process

The selection process for AIIMS Bathinda faculty positions involves the following stages:
