NHM Kalahandi Nutritionist cum Counsellor Recruitment 2026

The National Health Mission (NHM), Kalahandi, has released a notification for the recruitment of Nutritionist cum Counsellor posts through a walk-in interview process. This is a contractual engagement for an initial period of 11 months, subject to renewal based on performance and program continuation.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and other requirements to be eligible for the Nutritionist cum Counsellor post:

Age Limit and Relaxation

Applicants must satisfy the specified age criteria as of August 1, 2026.

• The minimum age for all posts is 21 years.
• The upper age limit is 65 years.
• Employees of the OSH & FW Society who have completed at least three terms of contractual service (11 months each) and have "Outstanding" or "Very Good" remarks in their PAR for the preceding three terms are eligible for age relaxation and additional weightage of marks.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates for the Nutritionist cum Counsellor post will receive a monthly remuneration along with other incentives.

Selection Process

The selection for the Nutritionist cum Counsellor post will be based on a multi-stage process totaling 50 marks. Candidates must secure 50% or more marks to be eligible for appointment.

2. Computer Test — This stage carries 10 marks.
3. Group Discussion — This stage carries 10 marks.
4. Personal Interview — This final stage carries 10 marks.

In case of a tie in marks, the merit list will prioritize candidates based on their date of birth, with elder candidates given preference.

2. Fill the application form completely and sign it.
3. Prepare self-attested copies of all necessary supportive documents.
4. Attend the walk-in interview on August 25, 2026, at the V.C Hall, O/o. CDM & PHO, Kalahandi.
5. Registration for the interview will be open from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Latecomers will not be entertained.
6. Candidates already working in the Health Department (regular or contractual) must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of application. The NOC must be specific to the post and issued after the advertisement.
