Age Limit and Relaxation
The age of candidates will be calculated as of 01 January 2026. The minimum age for all posts is 18 years. For medical posts, the maximum age limit is 70 years, while for managerial posts, it is 64 years. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Chhattisgarh government rules.

Selection Process
The selection process for NHM Janjgir Champa Recruitment 2026 involves different stages depending on the post. Generally, it includes a combination of academic merit, experience, and a skill test/written test/interview.
- Merit List based on Academic Qualification and Experience: For posts like Security Guard, Class IV, Support Staff, Cleaner, Attendant (NRC), and Cook Cum Care Taker (NRC), selection will be based on a merit list derived from 85% weightage to academic qualification percentage and 15% weightage to experience.
- Skill Test/Written Test/Interview: For most other posts (e.g., Radiographer, Programme Associate, Lab Technician, ANM, Dental Surgeon, Technical Assistant, STS, Accountant, Block Manager, CHO, Sr. Nursing Officer, Counsellor, Jr. Secretarial Assistant, RMA, Lab Attendant, Feeding Demonstrator, Staff Nurse), the selection will be based on:
- 60-65% weightage for academic qualification percentage.
- 20% weightage for Skill Test/Written Test/Interview.
- 10-20% weightage for experience.
Candidates must secure a minimum of 30% marks in the Skill Test/Written Test/Interview to be considered for selection.
- Experience Calculation: For NHM employees, experience will be awarded up to a maximum of 15 marks (3 marks per year). For other candidates, a maximum of 10 marks (2 marks per year) will be awarded. Mitanin work experience for ANM/GNM/Nursing trained candidates will be awarded up to 20 marks (4 marks per year).
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification.
- Final Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores from all applicable stages.
