About the NCL Assistant Foreman DV Schedule 2026

Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has released the document verification (DV) schedule for candidates provisionally shortlisted for the Assistant Foreman (Electrical), Assistant Foreman (Mechanical), and Assistant Foreman (E&T) Trainee Grade-C posts. This announcement, under Notice No. NCL/Sing/Ma.Sa./Sidhi-Bharti/2026-27/322 dated 08 August 2026, outlines the dates, venue, and essential documents required for the scrutiny process. This stage is crucial for candidates who appeared for the Computer Based Test (CBT) as per the original Employment Notification No. NCL/HQ/HR/Manpower/DR/2025-26/59 dated 09 February 2026.

Post-wise Document Verification Dates

The document verification process for the Assistant Foreman posts is scheduled from 17 August 2026 to 22 August 2026. Candidates must check their specific DV date based on their post and serial number range in the official annexures (A, B, or C) attached to the notice.

Document Verification Venue and Reporting Time

All shortlisted candidates must report to the designated venue within the specified time frame for their document verification.

Documents Required for Scrutiny

Candidates must bring all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies and six recent passport-size photographs for the verification process. The required documents are:

• Original certificate of Matriculation/SSC/High School or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of Examination.
• Original Diploma (minimum 3-year course) in the relevant engineering branch (Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics) from an institute recognized by the Government.
• Photocopy of the Online Application Form and Admit Card.
• Original ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, etc., issued by the Government of India.
• Original and valid Caste Certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the prescribed format, for candidates claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)-NCL categories.
• For candidates under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS): a copy of a valid Income & Asset certificate issued by the competent authority as per DoPT OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.2019, based on gross annual income for Financial Year 2024-2025.
• Original Ex-Servicemen Discharge Certificate, if applicable.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) if the candidate is currently employed in a Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertaking (including departmental candidates)/Autonomous Body, as prescribed in the Employment Notification.
• Two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the above documents.
• 6 sets of recent passport-size photographs.
• For Assistant Foreman (Electrical) and Assistant Foreman (Mechanical) posts, an original PwBD certificate (in the Government of India prescribed format, showing disability percentage of more than 40%) is required for availing relaxation/reservation, if applicable.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Candidates must report strictly on their assigned date, time, and venue with all original documents mentioned above.
• If any discrepancy is found during verification of original documents, or if a candidate fails to produce the listed documents, they will be declared ineligible without prior notice.
• The list of candidates called for document verification is based solely on the marks scored in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and does not confer any right to appointment.
• A provisional merit list for appointment will be issued only after document scrutiny/verification is complete, based on the vacancies and other eligibility conditions in the Employment Notification.
• Northern Coalfields Limited will not reimburse any travel or other expenses incurred by candidates for attending the document verification. Candidates must make their own arrangements for stay.
• After verification, candidates should collect a "Certificate of Confirmation" as proof of their attendance, to be used for any future correspondence or claims with NCL.
• The scheduled time period for document verification will not be extended under any circumstances, and requests for extension will not be entertained regardless of reason.
• Candidates are advised to review the original Employment Notification again and self-assess their eligibility for the post applied, ensuring they meet all qualifications as prescribed, as on the crucial cutoff date of 05 March 2026 (the last date for online application submission).
