Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
Candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and experience requirements, along with mandatory Urdu language proficiency, to be eligible for these Guest Faculty posts.
For Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) & Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (MRIT)
- For Medical Candidates (as per MCI/NMC norms):
- M.D. in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Anatomy, Pathology, Physiology, Blood Transfusion, or Hematology in the Medical field. A Ph.D. in a related field is preferred.
- OR M.Sc. in Radio Imaging Technology or equivalent (two-year course) with 2 years of teaching experience in the relevant field.
- OR M.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology (two-year course) with 2 years of teaching experience in the relevant field.
- OR M.Sc. Medical (three-year course) in Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-Chemistry, or Microbiology with 3 years of teaching experience. A Ph.D. in a related field is preferred.
- For Non-Medical Candidates (as per UGC norms):
- M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy, Radiation Physics, Master in Medical Imaging Technology, or Medical Lab Technology. A Ph.D. in a related field is preferred.
- A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university.
- Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC (like SLET/SET).
- OR Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- OR Candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, are exempted from NET/SLET/SET if they fulfill specific conditions (Ph.D. degree awarded in regular mode, thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners, open Ph.D. viva voce conducted, two research papers published from Ph.D. work with at least one in a refereed journal, and two papers presented in sponsored conferences/seminars).
- OR The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (QS, THE, or ARWU).
For Emergency Medical Technology (EMT)
- MBBS / MD / M.S. in Emergency Medicine / Anesthesia / General Medicines / General Surgery / Orthopedics with at least 2 years of relevant teaching/clinical experience in any recognized University / College / Institution.
- OR M.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Emergency & Trauma Care Technology / M.Sc. Trauma Care Management with at least 2 years of relevant teaching/clinical experience in any recognized University / College / Institution.
- OR Medical Graduate possessing additional qualifications in Emergency Medicine or a Post Graduate Diploma in EMS with at least 2 years of relevant teaching/clinical experience in any recognized University / College / Institution.
- OR M.B.B.S with 5 years of experience, including 3 years of mandatory experience in an Emergency Department, along with certificates in ACLS/ATLS.
Common Requirement for All Posts: Knowledge of Urdu
As Urdu is the medium of instruction at MANUU, proficiency in Urdu is compulsory for all teaching posts. Candidates must have either:
- Studied from an Urdu medium School/Madarsa.
- OR Studied Urdu as a subject at X Std. or +2/Intermediate level.
- OR Studied Urdu at UG level.
- OR Studied Urdu as one of the subjects at X or XII from Central or State Boards recognized by the Govt. of India or Madrasa Boards or NIOS/State Open Schools.
- OR Studied Urdu as one of the subjects from any UGC recognized State/Central/Private University at UG/PG level.
Eligibility for Retired University / College Teachers
Retired teachers (Professors, Associate Professors, or Assistant Professors) from Government recognized Institutions who are below 65 years of age are also eligible to apply for any of the advertised disciplines.
Age Limit
While a general age limit for fresh candidates is not specified, the notification explicitly states that retired teachers below 65 years of age are eligible.
Salary Structure
Selected Guest Faculty will receive a monthly remuneration as per UGC norms.
