The Office of the District Judge, Keonjhar, has issued Advertisement No. 04/2026 for the recruitment of eligible retired Ministerial staff. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for these positions must meet the following eligibility conditions:

• Retired Ministerial Staff: Only Ministerial Staff who have retired from service upon reaching the age of superannuation or through voluntary retirement are eligible.
• Service Record: Applicants must possess a clean service record.
• Age Limit: The age of the retired Ministerial employees must not exceed 70 years as of the advertisement date (29 July 2026).
• Disqualification: Staff who were dismissed, removed, compulsorily retired, or sought voluntary retirement after a Departmental Enquiry are not eligible.
• Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit for the role.

Pay and Allowances

Appointed retired Ministerial staff will receive a specific remuneration structure:

The pay and allowances will be calculated based on the salary drawn at the time of retirement, minus the total amount of pension received after commutation, as per applicable Pension Rules. Additionally, they will be entitled to all other regular allowances admissible to in-service staff of their respective cadres.

Attendance and Leave Policy

The leave policy for staff appointed on an ad-hoc/contractual basis under this scheme includes:

• Casual Leave: 10 days of Casual Leave in a calendar year.
• Special Casual Leave: 5 days of Special Casual Leave in a calendar year.
• Other Leave: No other type of leave is permissible during the appointment period.
• Unauthorized Absence: Proportionate reduction in pay and allowances will be made for unauthorized absences or absences exceeding the permissible leave period.

Selection Process

The selection for these posts will involve a direct walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates are required to attend a walk-in interview.
2. Fitness and Suitability: Appointment will be subject to the candidate's fitness and suitability for the role, assessed during the interview.

• Document (PPO) confirming superannuation or voluntary retirement.
• Medical fitness certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner.

• An undertaking to work in any post available in the cadre of Group-C (if applicable).
• Educational Qualification Certificate.
• Computer Certificate (at least DCA).
• Typewriting certificate, if any (in case of fresh candidate).
