Karnataka UGCET UGNEET 2026 Seat Allotment Schedule Released

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially released the UGCET UGNEET 2026 seat allotment schedule for the second round of UGCET and the first round of UGNEET. This schedule outlines important dates for displaying the seat matrix, option entry, seat surrender, and the publication of provisional results, guiding candidates through the next stages of the admission process.

Candidates should carefully note the following key dates for the UGCET and UGNEET 2026 seat allotment process:

Option Entry and Modification

Eligible candidates for Engineering, Farm Science, Veterinary, and similar courses can add, modify, delete, or re-order their options during the specified window. This includes new seats, forfeited seats, cancelled seats, and those from CHOICE-3 and CHOICE-4 categories. Additionally, candidates can include Pharmacy, Medical, and Dental options after downloading their verification slip. The option entry period runs from 7:00 pm on August 7, 2026, until 9:00 am on August 13, 2026.

Seat Surrender Process

Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round (CHOICE-1 or CHOICE-2) and wish to surrender it must do so in person at the KEA office in Bangalore. The deadline for surrendering seats is 11:00 am on August 13, 2026. Please note that penalties will be applicable as per the rules for seat surrender.

Post-Allotment Process for UGCET 2026 (Second Round)

After the publication of the second-round seat allotment results for UGCET courses (including Engineering, Architecture, Agricultural Science, Veterinary, Pharmacy, B.Sc. Nursing, Yoga & Naturopathy, BPT, BPO, and Allied Health Sciences), candidates will have two choices:

• CHOICE-1: Accept the allotted seat, pay the fees, and report to the college. Candidates opting for CHOICE-1 will be permitted to participate in the third round of seat allotment based on an agreement and subject to specific conditions.
• CHOICE-4: Reject the allotted seat and exit the counselling process.

It is important to note that CHOICE-2 and CHOICE-3 options are not available for UGCET courses in this round.

Post-Allotment Process for UGNEET 2026 (First Round)

For UGNEET courses, as this is the first round of seat allotment, candidates will have four choices available to them, as per the standard counselling rules.
