GPSC Preliminary Exam Admit Card 2026 – New Exam Date Announced

About the Exam Date Update

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has issued an important notice regarding the rescheduled date for the common preliminary examination for various posts. This exam, which covers "General Studies" for 34 different recruitment advertisements, was originally set for July 26, 2026. It has now been postponed and will be conducted on August 1, 2026, a Saturday, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. All candidates are advised to take note of these changes.

Admit Card Information

The admit cards previously issued for the examination scheduled on July 26, 2026, will remain valid for the rescheduled exam on August 1, 2026. Candidates who have already downloaded their admit cards do not need to download them again. For those who have not yet downloaded their admit cards, the download window will be open from July 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM until the exam date.

Exam Day Instructions

There will be no changes to the previously allotted examination centers. Candidates must ensure they arrive at their designated exam center and enter through the Main Gate between 1:00 PM and 2:15 PM on August 1, 2026. The examination will commence promptly at 3:00 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM.
