Eligibility Criteria

• For Senior Resident (03 years engagement): Applicants must possess a PG Degree or Diploma, or DNB in the relevant specialty from a recognized university.
• For Specialists: Candidates should have a PG Degree or equivalent with 3 years of post-PG experience, OR a PG Diploma with 5 years of post-PG experience in their respective specialty from a recognized university.
• For Senior/Junior Resident against GDMO Post (1 Year engagement): A PG Degree or Diploma, or DNB is preferred. If such candidates are not available, MBBS graduates with experience or good clinical knowledge in any discipline will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior work experience in ESIC and are familiar with the online Dhanwantri module.

Age Limit and Relaxation

• Senior Resident (03 years engagement): The upper age limit is 45 years.
• Specialists: The age should not exceed 69 years.
• Senior/Junior Resident (1 Year engagement against GDMO post): The upper age limit is 45 years.

Salary Structure

• 03 years Senior Resident: Salary will be as per 7th CPC Level 11.
• Specialists: A consolidated remuneration of Rs 1,21,408 per month.
• 1 Year Senior/Junior Resident against GDMO Post: A consolidated remuneration of Rs 1,21,048 per month (subject to revision as per ESIC HQ instructions).

Selection Procedure

How to Apply for the Walk-in Interview

1. Prepare Application: Fill out the prescribed pro-forma (Annexure-A) completely and accurately.
2. Gather Documents: Collect two recent passport-size photographs, one set of attested photocopies, and the originals of all required testimonials.
3. Reporting: Report to the venue on 20 August 2026, between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM for document submission. Candidates reporting after 11:00 AM will not be considered for the interview.
4. Interview: Attend the interview as scheduled after document verification.

Documents Required

• Two recent passport-size photographs.
• Proof of Date of Birth (SSC/Matriculation Certificate or equivalent).
• Certificates of Qualifications & Mark sheets (MBBS Mark sheets & Degree Certificate, PG Degree / Diploma Certificate).
• Caste Certificate / Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC Non-creamy layer, EWS) in the prescribed proforma, along with a self-undertaking for OBC (Non-creamy layer) status.
• UID (Aadhaar card) and PAN card.
• Experience Certificate (if applicable).
• MCI/RMC Registration Copy.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer (if applicable).
• Any other relevant documents mentioned in the notification.

Important Instructions

• The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased without prior notice.
• Selected candidates for Specialist and SR (03 years) posts must submit a security deposit of Rs 25,000/- via Demand Draft in favor of 'ESI Fund Account No. 1' payable at Bikaner. This deposit is refundable upon successful completion of the contract and production of a 'No dues certificate'. It will be forfeited if the candidate leaves before completing the minimum 1-year tenure.
• Selected candidates for Senior/Junior Resident (1 year GDMO) posts also need to submit a security deposit of Rs 25,000/-. This is refundable after successful completion of the contract and production of a 'No dues certificate'. If a candidate resigns, one month's notice is required, otherwise the deposit will be forfeited.
• Specialists must have a professional indemnity policy covering the desired period, with a minimum sum assured of Rs 30 lakh for Anesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, etc., and Rs 20 lakh for General Surgeons, Gynecologists, Obstetricians, Physicians, Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists, etc. A copy of the insurance and premium receipt must be submitted within 7 days of engagement.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the walk-in interview or for joining the post.
• Private practice is strictly prohibited.
• The engagement is purely contractual and can be terminated by giving one month's prior notice. The Medical Superintendent reserves the right to terminate services with immediate effect without assigning any reason.
• Selected candidates will not have any claim for regularization of service or other service benefits like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, or Promotion.
• Senior Residents (03 years) and Specialists are entitled to 2.5 earned leaves per month. Senior/Junior Residents (1 year GDMO) are entitled to 1 earned leave per month. No leave can be availed in advance, and no encashment for accumulated leave is permitted.
• Duties will be assigned by the Medical Superintendent, including emergency and call duties, even on Sundays and Gazetted holidays.
• No hostel accommodation or quarters will be provided to Senior Residents on contract basis.
