Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications

Candidates must meet the specific eligibility criteria as of the interview date. Educational qualifications and experience requirements are primarily guided by the National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines dated 30.06.2025. Generally, applicants should possess an MBBS degree along with a Post Graduate qualification such as MD/MS/DNB/Diploma in the relevant medical specialty. Experience requirements vary by post (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) and are also as per NMC norms.

Age Limit and Relaxations

The upper age limit for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor positions is 69 years. For Senior Resident posts, the age limit is 45 years, with an exception for departments like Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine, where it is 50 years. Age relaxation will be provided to eligible candidates as per the prevailing Government of India norms.

Selection Process
