The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital, Bibvewadi, Pune, has issued a rolling advertisement, Advertisement No. 08 of 2026, for the recruitment of various teaching faculty positions, senior residents, and medical officers. This recruitment drive aims to fill 38 vacant posts through walk-in interviews, which will be conducted from August 11 to August 13, 2026. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and age limits to be eligible for these positions. Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India norms.

Educational Qualifications:

• For Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident (1 Year & 3 Year): Qualifications are as per National Medical Commission (NMC, erstwhile MCI) guidelines.
• For Medical Officer in DCBOs:
  • A recognized MBBS degree qualification.
  • Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
  • Registration with the National Medical Council / Maharashtra Medical Council.

Age Limit (as on 11/08/2026):

• Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 68 years.
• Medical Officers in DCBOs: Not exceeding 35 years.
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years.

Application Fee

The application fee varies by candidate category and is payable via Demand Draft.

The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft in favor of 'ESI Fund A/c No.-1', payable at Pune. Fees once paid are non-refundable.

Salary and Remuneration

Selection Process

The selection process for these contractual posts will involve a walk-in interview.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates must attend the walk-in interview on the specified dates with all necessary documents.

1. Prepare Application: Fill out the prescribed application format (Annexure-A for Teaching Faculty/Senior Resident, Annexure-B for Medical Officer at DCBOs).
2. 4. Attend Interview: Report to the interview venue, Office of the Dean/Medical Superintendent, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Bibvewadi, Pune, between 09:00 AM and 10:30 AM on the respective interview date (11th, 12th, or 13th August 2026, as per the post/department).
5. Submission: Submit the duly filled application form, Demand Draft, and all required documents (originals and self-attested copies) at the time of the walk-in interview.

Important Instructions

• The appointment is purely on a contractual basis, and selected candidates will have no claim for regularization.
• The tenure of engagement will be one year, extendable up to three years (except for SR-1 Year and MO in DCBO, which is one year), subject to satisfactory performance.
• Private practice is not permitted for contractual doctors.
• Candidates in government service must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
• Absence from work for 15 days without permission will lead to automatic termination.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining.
