Selection Procedure

It will involve a dictation of 250 words at 100 words per minute for 2 minutes 30 seconds, which candidates must then type in Hindi on a computer using the Ubuntu/Linux operating system with Unicode typing within 10 minutes. Half a mark will be deducted for every word error in both shorthand and typing.
• Assistant Grade-III: The skill test will be for 100 marks. It will involve typing 250 words in Hindi on a computer within 10 minutes and 250 words in English on a computer within 10 minutes, both using the Ubuntu/Linux operating system with Unicode typing. Half a mark will be deducted for every word error.
• Vehicle Driver: This will be a 50-mark skill test/interview designed to assess physical ability, intellectual capacity, obedience, work efficiency, and driving experience. If more than 20 times the number of vacancies apply, candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test based on their 8th-grade marks.
