Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following minimum qualification and experience requirements to be eligible for the Accountant post:

Accountant	Master of Commerce (M.Com) from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade. A Computer Certificate/Diploma of a minimum 6 months duration, demonstrating good knowledge of Tally software.	Minimum 1 year of relevant post-qualification working experience in budgeting, accounting, and financial management for large-scale programmes/projects in reputed institutions/organizations. Preference will be given to applicants with experience working in Government programmes or externally aided projects. Candidates should possess knowledge of Government accounting, Income Tax, GST, and other taxations.

Additionally, applicants must be permanent residents of Assam.

Age Limit

The age of the applicant should be calculated as of 1st January 2026.

• Maximum Age: 40 years

Salary Structure

The selected candidate for the Accountant position will receive a fixed monthly remuneration:

An annual increment of 3% will be applicable in case of service continuance beyond the initial contractual period.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Accountant post will involve multiple stages conducted on the day of the walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: This will commence from 9:30 AM onwards. Candidates must present all original academic mark-sheets, pass certificates, age proof, permanent residential proof of Assam, and experience certificates for verification.
2. Aptitude Test, Writing Skill & Computer Literacy Test: Following successful document verification, eligible candidates will be required to appear for these tests.
3. Interview: A duly constituted 'Selection Committee', including subject experts, will conduct the final interview.

The authority reserves the right to cancel any candidature if ineligibility is detected or if any declared information is found to be false.

Documents Required for Walk-in Interview

Candidates attending the walk-in interview must bring the following:

• All original academic mark-sheets and pass certificates (from HSLC onwards).
• Age proof certificate.
• Permanent Residential Proof of Assam (PRC/Employment Exchange Card).
• Experience certificates.
• A copy of one set of self-attested photocopies of all the above-mentioned documents.
• A duly filled prescribed application format (provided in the notification) along with the self-attested documents.

Candidates are advised to report at the venue by 9:30 AM for document verification. No Travelling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for appearing in the interview.
