Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Maths, English, Physics

• Essential Qualification: Two years Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional Institute of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in aggregate, including B.Ed component. OR Master's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University, AND B.Ed or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with at least 50% marks.
• Other Requirement: Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - Maths

• Essential Qualification: Four years Integrated Graduate course in Maths from Regional Institute of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in aggregate, including B.Ed component. OR Bachelor's Degree in Maths in all three years with at least 50% Marks in aggregate from a recognized University, AND B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institute with at least 50% marks.
• CTET/STET: CTET/STET qualified (Paper-II) conducted by Central/State Govt.
• Other Requirement: Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

Laboratory Assistant (Physics)

• Essential Qualification: Should have passed 12th/Intermediate with Science (Physics) as one of the subjects or equivalent.
• Other Requirement: Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

Counselor (Contractual)

• Essential Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate in Psychology OR Post Graduate in Child Development OR Graduate/Post Graduate with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling.

Band Master (Contractual)

• Essential Qualification: Potential Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major Course at the AEC Training College and Centre, Pachmarhi OR Equivalent Naval/Air Force Course.

Art Master (Contractual)

• Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Fine Art (with Painting specialization) OR Graduate with Fine Art/Art/Drawing and Painting as one of the subjects with minimum 4 years Diploma from a recognized Institute/University. OR Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Sr. Sec. School Certificate Examination with minimum 5 years (full time)/7 year (Part time) diploma in Fine Art/Painting/Drawing and Painting from a recognized Institute/University.

Age Limit and Relaxation

• Counselor, Band Master, Art Master Posts: 21 to 50 years
• Age Relaxation: A relaxation of 05 years is applicable for Ex-servicemen applying for the Band Master post.

Salary and Pay Scale

• Laboratory Assistant (Physics): Rs. 25500/- + DA per month (Level-4, Index-1 in Pay Matrix, as per 7th CPC).
• Counselor (Contractual): Rs. 30000/- consolidated p.m. (Negotiable for highly deserving candidates).
• Band Master (Contractual): Rs. 40000/- consolidated p.m.
• Art Master (Contractual): Rs. 25000/- consolidated p.m.

Selection Process

1. Written Test: This is the first phase, carrying 100 marks with a 50% weightage. Candidates need to score a minimum of 33% (or up to 50% as decided by the Board of Officers) to qualify for the next stage. The written test includes General Knowledge (15 Marks), General English (15 Marks), Basic Maths (10 Marks), and a Subject Test (60 Marks).
2. Class Demonstration: The second phase, carrying 100 marks with a 30% weightage. Candidates will demonstrate their classroom teaching skills in a live environment on a topic assigned by the Selection Board, supported by a well-prepared lesson plan.
3. Interview: The third phase, carrying 100 marks with a 15% weightage. Candidates will appear before the Selection Board to assess their subject knowledge, teaching aptitude, communication skills, and overall suitability for the post.
4. Higher Qualification & Experience: This component contributes 50 marks with a 5% weightage to the overall selection.
