Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Sr. Dy. Traffic Manager

• Educational Qualification: A degree from any recognized University.
• Experience: Twelve years of experience in an executive cadre within Shipping, Cargo Operations, or Railway Transportation in an Industrial, Commercial, or Government Undertaking.

Sr. Dy. Chief Accounts Officer

• Educational Qualification: Membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
• Experience: Twelve years of experience in an executive cadre in the field of Finance and Accounting in an Industrial, Commercial, or Government Undertaking.

Age Limit and Relaxation

• General Candidates: Up to 42 years.
• Regular Employees of Major Port Authorities: An upper age limit of 55 years applies.
• Other Categories: Age relaxation will be provided as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India. Candidates claiming age relaxation must submit relevant certificates during the application process and for verification.

1. Written Examination: A written test will be conducted if more than 10 candidates are found eligible for a particular post.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The number of candidates called for the interview will typically be in a ratio of 1:5 or less against the vacancy.
3. Weightage: If both a written examination and an interview are conducted, the written examination will carry 85% weightage, and the oral interview will carry 15% weightage.
4. Qualifying Marks: Mormugao Port Authority reserves the right to fix qualifying cut-off marks for shortlisting candidates.

Salary and Emoluments

• Dearness Allowance (DA) based on the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) pattern.
• Cafeteria allowance at 35% of Basic Pay.
• Other benefits such as Gratuity, House Rent Allowance (HRA) or quarters, Medical benefits, and leave encashment, all as per the rules of Mormugao Port Authority and Government of India guidelines.

• A "No Objection Certificate" from the current employer and vigilance clearance must be submitted with the application or at the time of interview.
• Candidates must be citizens of India, subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (pre-1962), or persons of Indian origin migrated from specified countries, with a valid certificate of eligibility from the Government of India where applicable.
