How to Raise a Grievance Against the Merit List
If any details on the provisional merit list are incorrect, candidates must submit a grievance by August 1, 2026 (5:00 PM). This includes errors in name spelling, CET score, Class 12 aggregate percentage, or reservation category. Candidates whose provisional status is accurate do not need to submit a grievance.
For Candidates Who Chose E-Scrutiny
- Log in to your candidate dashboard on bba2026.mahacet.org.in.
- Click on the "Raise Grievance" tab.
- Select the specific field that requires correction (e.g., Marks, Category, Gender, Type of Candidature).
- Provide the reason for the correction and upload valid supporting documents in PDF format.
- Submit the grievance and keep the acknowledgement receipt. If your application is reverted with officer remarks, re-upload the corrected document and resubmit before the deadline.
For Candidates Who Chose Physical Scrutiny
Candidates who opted for Physical Scrutiny must visit the same Scrutiny Centre (SC) where their documents were originally verified. They must carry the original document along with the physical Receipt-cum-Acknowledgement slip to resolve their grievance.
Percentile Calculation
The State CET Cell calculates percentile scores using a normalised relative-performance formula. This indicates the percentage of candidates who scored equal to or below a particular candidate's score. For example, a score of 80+ out of 100 typically corresponds to a 99.5+ percentile.
