Application Fee and Payment Method

Selection Process

- Registration – Candidates must report to the interview venue, Kajali Club, Near RRM Office, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, and register with the designated KRCL official between 09:00 hrs and 12:00 hrs on their respective interview date.
- Elimination Round (Optional) – Depending on the number of applicants, a Group Discussion (GD) or a written test may be conducted as an initial elimination round. Only candidates who clear this stage will proceed.
- Interview – A nominated committee will interview provisionally eligible candidates.
- Merit List – A final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate's performance in the interview, their educational qualifications, and relevant post-qualification experience. The decision of the KRCL Nominated Committee will be final.
- Medical Examination – Successful candidates must pass a prescribed medical examination before the contract is formally entered into.
Candidates should note that no train/bus fare or TA/DA will be provided by KRCL for attending the interview.
Pay Scale and Benefits
The monthly remuneration for the selected candidates is consolidated and varies based on the post group and the city classification (A, B, or C Class) of the posting location. This consolidated amount includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Conveyance Allowance, and Mobile Allowance.

Additional benefits include an annual remuneration increase of 4% of the consolidated amount after each year (subject to KRCL's discretion), applicable benefits under the New Labour Code-2026 (Insurance, Gratuity, Bonus), TA for official travel, complementary Railway Pass for duty travel, rest house/hotel reimbursement while on duty, 15 days of fully earned leave per 6 months (accumulable but not encashable), and 8 days of Casual Leave per year. Overtime allowance is not paid.
