JKSSB PST/PET Shortlist for Inspector, Wildlife Guard, FPF Guard, Field Assistant & Social Forestry Worker Released

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially released the shortlisting of candidates for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET) for various posts. This JKSSB Inspector Wildlife Guard Result 2026 pertains to the recruitment notifications issued in 2021 and 2022. A total of 1644 candidates have been shortlisted across different categories.

Shortlisted Candidates Overview

The shortlisting includes candidates for multiple posts in the Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment. The number of candidates shortlisted for each post is as follows:

• Inspector (FPF): 389 candidates
• Wildlife Guard: 571 candidates
• FPF Guard: 365 candidates
• Field Assistant: 68 candidates
• Social Forestry Worker: 251 candidates

Candidates who applied for more than one post and were shortlisted against multiple positions have been clubbed, and their details are provided in Annexure "F" of the official notification.

PST/PET Details and Venue Change Option

The Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET) for the shortlisted candidates are tentatively scheduled to commence from the 1st week of September 2026. Specific dates, admit card release, and exact venues for the PST/PET will be announced separately by the JKSSB. Candidates who wish to exercise the option for a change in their test venue for PST/PET must submit their representation to the JKSSB office. This option is available at the JKSSB office located at Muthi, Akhnoor Road, Jammu, or ZamZam Complex, Rambagh, Srinagar. The window for submitting venue change requests is from 10 August 2026 to 14 August 2026, during office hours only.

Important Instructions for Shortlisted Candidates

Candidates appearing for the PST/PET must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Bring all original documents along with a set of self-attested photocopies as specified in the call letter.
• Ensure they meet all eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications, age limits, and other requirements as per the original recruitment notifications (03 of 2021 and 04 of 2022).
• Any candidate found to be ineligible at any stage will be disqualified from the selection process.
• The Board reserves the right to verify the antecedents and eligibility of candidates at any point during the recruitment.

Check Your Shortlisting Status

Candidates can check their shortlisting status by referring to the roll numbers and names listed in the respective annexures (A, B, C, D, E, F) of the official notification. The lists include the candidate's roll number, name, and father's name for verification.
