CAP Round 3 is a crucial stage, being the third and second-to-last centralized seat allotment round for the 2026 admission cycle.

Candidates who have been freshly allotted a seat in CAP Round 3 are required to pay a non-refundable online seat acceptance fee.

How to Check Result — Step by Step

The DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Round 3 seat allotment letter will not be sent via email. Candidates must download it themselves by following these steps:

1. Visit the official website: poly26.dtemaharashtra.gov.in (for first-year candidates) or dsd26.dtemaharashtra.gov.in (for direct second-year/lateral entry candidates).
2. Click on the "Candidate Login" option.
3. Enter your Application ID, password, and the CAPTCHA code displayed on the screen.
4. Navigate to the "Round 3 Allotment" link on your dashboard.
5. View your detailed seat allotment/selection summary on the screen.
6. Download the seat allotment letter in PDF format and save multiple digital copies.
7. Take a clear printout of the allotment letter, ensuring the DTE watermark, security stamp, barcode, and candidate photo are visible, as incomplete prints may be rejected during document scrutiny.

If you forget your password, use the "Forgot Password" option on the candidate login page, enter your Application ID and registered mobile number, and reset your password using the OTP received.

Documents Required

Candidates must physically report to their allotted polytechnic institute on or before August 1, 2026, during regular working hours, carrying all original documents for verification. This physical verification is crucial, even for candidates who completed e-Scrutiny, as e-Scrutiny is provisional.
